1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Halo (haloadmit.com), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

Halo is an AI-powered college essay coaching platform. We provide tools to help you write, analyze, and improve your college application essays. Our feedback is generated by AI models and should be treated as guidance, not guarantees of admission outcomes.

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Halo
  • One account per person

4. Your Content

You retain full ownership of the essays and other content you create on Halo. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your content through AI models for the purpose of providing feedback and analysis. We do not claim ownership of your work and will never publish, share, or sell your essays.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Halo to generate essays that misrepresent your own voice or experiences
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our AI prompts or training data

7. AI Disclaimer

Halo uses AI to provide essay feedback and scoring. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. Our scores and suggestions are tools to help you improve your writing, not predictions of admission decisions. You are ultimately responsible for the content you submit in your college applications.

8. Limitation of Liability

Halo is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to admission outcomes. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
